Curb

I used this to make a curb/water diverter. Use 2x4 boards for a form. Apply concrete or mortar mix afterwards to help cure faster.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes, Tamp It Good, Be Careful For The First Few Days That Nobody Runs Into The Curb. The Asphalt Wioll Get real Hard In About 4 Days. Sprinkles Sand On It To Eliminate Tackiness.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes QPR can be used to create a curb, with this criteria - solid, clean surface (asphalt or concrete) to place QPR material on (foundation) - size and shape of the curb; round is good to drive over but square can be used for simple water diversion; anything more the 2-3" high may not maintain the shape in free standing application; triangle is not recommended; try 3" wide to 1" high (3:1) ratio - location of curb; on a driveway it should be round and well compacted; along grass/asphalt boundary it should be added to the asphalt side (clean dirt from surface) - application; create a form (18-24" long works well) to slide along the length of your curb area; compact with hammer and block of wood; driveway areas can be compact gently with tire of vehicle (rolling) after initial forming and compacting - start dry then need dry period of 1-2 weeks after installation to allow curing process to get a solid start; temperatures during the day around 70+ degF - if are have a way to create notch in the foundation, this will help secure the curb much better; ex: 1-2" gap between concrete driveway and asphalt street; along grass/asphalt boundary overlap the edge of the asphalt 1-2" Tips on maintenance: - careful during snow removal not to chip or scrap material off bonding surface - in areas along grass/asphalt boundary, use soil to backup and support the curb (makes mowing easier too) Experience: - in areas where curb has been backed by solid, curbing has lasted 17 yrs - in application on concrete driveway to divert water after surface properly cleaned and material compacted it has lasted a couple of winters already - applying directly to soil or grass areas, not recommended (QPR is not the choice in this application, try PVC edging) Hope this helps.

So I would not recommend it for a curb very high unless you make it wide. Maybe for a water diverter say 2 to 3 inches high, then yes. But it would flatten with too much weight from a vehicle. Good luck with this. You might try one bag and see. Be sure to wear old clothes and gloves that you throw away when you finish.
