The connector does not seal enough to stop water from spraying between the male and female parts. Is there some way to make the connection tighter?

Hello Dave, Thank you for reaching out to us. In most cases, the issue is caused by over-tightening the female quick connect part. This often shifts the washer out of place, resulting in a leak. We recommend disconnecting the female connector and carefully re-centering the washer. Please avoid over-tightening either end during reassembly to prevent further issues. Regards,
