My post measures 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" . Is there any leeway or flexibility or is each piece only & strictly six inches?


Hi Bobb, the standard 6x6 Post Shields fit the standard nominal 6x6 labeled post which actually measures 5.5”x5.5”. This is the standard in the lumber industry and we understand that can be quite confusing. For your situation, they would not fit as your post is larger than the standard 6x6 size of 5.5” a side.
