Wooden shed with metal roof. 100 deg temp is norm. Should I leave air gap and glue to 2x4 or btw 2x4's? Also should I double up sheets?

An air gap is only necessary when using Insulfoam's R-Tech Product. With the metallic facer being installed towards the air gap, it increases the overall R-Value of the board. If you are using unfaced product, an air gap is not necessary. Doubling up sheets is completely up to you. More insulation is never a bad thing, but it depends on how much thermal comfort you are looking to add.
