Can you get open caps for this line so that your existing column can carry through to the roofline? Or how would you go about finishing the wrap?


The caps would have to be cut in half then the opening for the post or column to continue through would have to be jigged out. Here is a video showing exactly that: https://youtu.be/uK3sqsj6o2U
