Hello. I'll be wrapping an existing 4x4 post. Is the top "cover" solid? If so, can I cut it to fit around my post?


The post cover caps are solid but very easy to cut. They would be cut diagonal then a 4x4 opening jigged out from the middle of each half. The manufacturer has a demo video showing this exact cut and installation with caps on their website.
