why does this say nonresidential, couldn't it be used as siding if painted?

The LP® Multi-Use Panel can be used on outdoor projects such as dog houses, chicken coops, planter boxes and garbage bin holders, as well as indoor projects like garage-shed-basement interior liners and wainscoting-man cave treatments. It is not intended to be used as siding for any residential or accessory buildings that require a permit.
