Has anyone used this for board and batten for the siding of a house or shed?

I put this on my shed (direct to studs 16" center) about 2 years ago. I pained all panels (with brush) prior to installing. Still looks great! Just an FYI: I layed several scrap pieces (un-painted with primed side up) on the ground in front of the shed as a walkway - After nearly 2 years in the weather, scrap pieces still look like new (except for a bit of mud on it), no swelling or rotting.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I used it on my shed and it works great. It is not engineered and therefore not guaranteed to withstand sheers from heavy loads or earthquakes.

The LP® Multi-Use Panel can be used on outdoor projects such as dog houses, chicken coops, planter boxes and garbage bin holders, as well as indoor projects like garage-shed-basement interior liners and wainscoting-man cave treatments. It is not intended to be used as siding for any residential or accessory buildings that require a permit. For your Shed application, we suggest considering the LP SmartSide panel Product ID 25856, which can be found at Lowe's under SKU 395118
