What’s the best way to secure this to a ceiling with 16 on center joists?


Please note that LP® Multi-Use Panels are not intended for use as siding on residential or accessory structures governed by building codes. If your project is regulated or subject to inspection, we recommend using LP® Panel or LP® Soffit, which are available in 4' x 8' profiles. For ceiling installation, here are the recommended fastening guidelines: • Use a 2-inch long nail with a 0.113-inch shank diameter. • Nails should penetrate the joists a minimum of 1-1/2 inches (38 mm). • Nail spacing should be 6 inches on-center (152 mm) around the perimeter and 12 inches on-center (305 mm) in the field. • We recommend using hot-dip galvanized nails for durability.
