Besides multi-use's warranty and not being rated for residential use, what is the technical differences between multi-use vs the SmartSide products?


Thank you for your interest in our LP Multi-Use panel and SmartSide siding. In short, the products have a similar engineered wood composition, but not identical. The multi use panel is most ideal for interior wall treatments or small exterior projects not requiring a permit. SmartSide is engineered to better meet the demands of a residential exterior cladding but is not off-gassing, so is often also used in interior applications as well.
