I need to use the 1/4 collet; i have inserted 1/4 in to the 1/2 insent collet; when i tighten the bit it is still loose. Please advise.


make sure you don't take the nut off, put the collet into the nut and then your bit and depress the spindle lock button and tighten, it should tighten up, mine does.
