Hello, Thank you for your interest in Johns Manville fiberglass insulation. Pricing varies by retailer, but the reason that Attic Protector is more expensive than cellulose insulation is that a package of Attic Protector will cover 66 square feet for R-30 where as the Green fiber product only covers 28 square feet, less than half the coverage of fiber glass. A cursory view at Lowes.com shows a price $36.62 for Attic Protector and $14.91 for Green Fiber cellulose which indicates that are roughly equivalent in terms of dollars per square feet of coverage. Fiber glass has the advantage of being lighter and non combustible. Best regards, Doug Fast
