Do i need to strip the wires first or does the clamp penetrate the insulation and make connection with the wire?


It no you do not need to strip the individual wires. The gold pins will cut through the jacketing and bite into the wire. A generic name for them is an IDC or insulation displacement connectors. Good luck Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com
