the choke and on off switch work different than other Husqvarna's I have. This has a momentary off position.

I had the original question and went to a dealer today. He said people that were not familial with the choke/on off switch would pull the choke to turn the on/off switch to run and flood the engine and were having starting issues. I never experienced that an like the old switch with a positive off position. I guess because of the few you decided to change it to a monetary off position. I do not like it because not the saw is in the on position all the time. To me this is not a safe condition to be in. Thank you.

Hi Tom. I'm not clear on what you're asking exactly, but assuming you're having starting issues, I suggest that you check out the step-by-step starting insructions, as well as the troubleshooting guide in your user manual for tips, tricks, and solutions for common issues. Many times, the fix is something very simple. If you no longer have it handy, you can download a PDF on our website at: http://www.husqvarna.com/us/support/manuals-downloads/ Thank you for choosing Husqvarna for your outdoor power equipment needs.
