How much power does the igniter take for the oven and broiler, and does it have to stay on the whole time your using oven and broiler or is it just to start them?

This model uses a standard 15-amp circuit, and the igniters generally draw less than 800 watts. They operate only long enough to ignite the oven or broiler, and once the burners are lit, they stop drawing significant power and do not stay on during the entire cooking time.
