Once this is attached to the gun can it be removed after partial use or must it be emptied out entirely?

It can be removed after partial use. I don't know how many times it can be used before it is used up.
Was this Answer Helpful ?The instructions indicate you can leave the unused portion in the can attached to the gun. This is a little confusing. I would remove the can and store it in an upright position and the clean the gun. I would go back to the previously used can in less then 30 days and try an use the remaining product.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I believe the GREAT STUFF GUN CLEANER can be used multiple times for gun cleaning. The gun cleaner has a spray nozzle for cleaning up areas outside of the gun. When the can is inverted and installed where the can was removed this product is used to clean the internal parts of the gun. In all cases follow the directions on the can (insulation, foam, cleaner or gun).

Was this Answer Helpful ?After attaching the GREAT STUFF PRO™ Gun Cleaner on the Pro Dispensing Gun, pull the trigger and dispense cleaner until there are no signs of residual foam. This requires about half a can of GREAT STUFF PRO™ Gun Cleaner. When detaching the cleaner, continue to pull trigger while unscrewing the cleaner from the gun to help prevent spray back. Also be sure to spray off the gun's exterior surface and can screw-on area, using the red spray nozzle attachment.
