My windows aren't flush. Can I install the 2 pieces at a 45 degree angle to each other?

My windows or door frame wasn't flush either but they did work for me. May I suggest you get them & without peeling off the paper or tearing up the packaging hold them to wear you'd want them to see if it would work or not. That way if it didn't you could return them. I hope they will work for you as I do like having a cheaper security on the windows & doors.

With our GE Indoor Door/Window Sensor it will work properly as long as there is not more than a ½” distance between the sensor and alarm. Installation of the Door/Window Sensor Mount magnetic sensor requires the distance between the sensor and alarm is no greater than 1/2”.
