Better buy 40 sets as next year you will be extremely disappointed when it is discovered more than half of what you purchased this year won't work....unless you have the patience and discipline to repair - then again, GE only provides 2 replacement bulbs for each box, so chances are good a couple strings get tossed

Not sure about online, but in the store, they give a "contractor's discount" if you buy 6 (I think) or more, 5% off all you buy. It is on the tag on the shelf in the store with the contractor's pricing too.
