You can buy 100 packs of replacement LED lamps on Amazon for $5-6. The colored cap will come off fairly easily with a pair of pliers and you can replace the actual LED. I believe the needed size is 3mm.

Only place I could find them is at geholidaylighting.com part no. ES-C6-WW-GB-20. $4.49 for 20 pack plus shipping. I paid $17.81 total for 2-20 packs.

I've been looking everywhere for spare bulbs. Guessing they don't make them so you have to buy new strands every year.
