I have heard that while this system helps with the getting the water hot (hot side) however the cold water side turns hot as well should this happen?


This system is designed for the cold water supply line to return the cooling water to the hot water heater. You may experience some warm water from the cold water line while this happens. Opening the cold water faucet fully will flush the warm water in a short period of time.
