Does the entire thing go underground? Or just to the horizontal bar.


Hello, thank you for your question. We suggest at least half of the unit to be installed. Depending on the type of fence you are protecting, you may need to leave a portion of the unit out of the ground to close any gaps under the fence. If the gap is very deep, where you have to install more than half of the unit, a 2nd unit can be installed as well to make up any open space.
