Can I paint over this plaster with a lime wash?

Thank you for your inquiry. Lime wash or White wash applications are typically on the outside or exterior application. Typically if a lime and water wash is applied to a plaster surface it would not be uniform and most likely would be chalky. USG cannot guarantee the final appearance or performance if a lime wash is applied.
