The wand sticks down, and it flexes to form a crank at the end. You can crank it 6 feet up or down in less than a minute. The wand looks nice, very pleased with how it works.
Was this Answer Helpful ?It has a rod the rotates and they work like the old roll-up shades but updated. Hold the handle and the rod turns making the shade roll up. No cords!!
