Does it contain peat moss?

Hi Tatiana! No, our soil is peat-free. Our soils may look and feel different depending on regionally sourced inputs. However, each bag of soil is 100% guaranteed to grow the garden of your dreams and the regional aged wood & bark fines help improve airspace/moisture retention and help break up difficult clay soils. The finer, more decomposed particles hold a tremendous amount of water and improve fine soil texture by forming colloids (clumps) which helps improve moisture and air infiltration. Larger particles also help wedge the soil apart and keep it from compacting over time. Lastly, as wood and bark fines age (decompose) in big moisture and temperature-controlled piles, they accumulate huge populations (millions to tens of billions per gram) of beneficial microbes. These microbes consume the carbon and minerals in the wood and as your garden grows, they transform it into nutrients for your plants.
