How to clean the dead bugs off


Blow off with your leaf blower, it does a great job in about 5 seconds. Just make sure and hold on to the unit with one hand while blowing the bugs off.

Fortunately for me I already had a small air compressor that I use to clean the bug zapper with when it gets too clogged. Living is S. Louisiana and the West Nile Virus present with the mosquito population, a clean and working zapper is a must.

Unplug from power and wash out with a water hose. Let the light dry completely before plugging back up.

Unplug the unit, remove the light bulb and, using a small brush or stick, clean the inner grids and outer casing. You can also use compressed air, but never use water to clean your unit.
