We have a couple of these. These lights are AWESOME. They get filled up with bugs quickly here in Florida and, once a week or so, they have to be jet sprayed out with the water hose or sometimes we use a leaf blower. Whichever is handy works. I never unplug them to clean them out. We have never used the hormone bait included, ever. These lights work plenty well on their own. NOTE: manufacturer says to replace bulbs every 3000 hours, I think. I had one of these lights running for probably 8 y...

Black Flag Bug Zapper

Would Not Recommend

40-watt Bug Zapper Outdoor: The light did not function upon receipt. Found a bent pin on the light. I replaced it with the old light, which functioned correctly, from the zapper that I replaced, because it was weather-damaged. Lowe's does not have the 40-watt light for the Black Flag zapper.

This works great. Keep away from windows to avoid a flux of bugs to that location. If used outdoors, keep at a distance from the house.
