Is there a clip to attach a the plank directly to ceiling joist without using the railing system


No, Easy Up clips must be used with the Easy Up track system. If you are looking to purchase WoodHaven though, there are clips provided in every box that can be used for installation directly on furring strips on exposed joists. In that case, the Easy Up system in not needed for installation.
