The product says 3x3 but under description it reads 4x4. Which is accurate?

Panels are compliant with code requirements of a 4” or smaller sphere space. This 4”x4” on center spacing creates a net space of 3.75”x3.75”

I would look on the Wild Hog Railing website, it is their product that Lowe's is selling.
