I ordered 2in faux blinds that have 3 3/8 standard valance return, can I mount this above the 1/2 in deep trim?or will I have to order added project

Hi. Thank you for your question. The valance attaches to the top rail of the blind using valance clips. If an outside mount is required above the trim, you can utilize extension brackets to mount the blind to that area then attach the valance using the valance clips provided with the installation hardware package.
