I have ordered many room darkening blinds in the past. How do I make sure there is no gaps on sides of shade where light comes in for inside mount?

There will be a small gap on either side. On the custom cellular shades we do take a 3/8 inch deduction on the overall width measurement to ensure the shade fits and has enough room to function properly. - Kimberly
