Thank you for your question Alice. The cellular shade is an excellent choice for this. The honeycomb shape of the cells trap hot/cold air which reduces airflow into the home. The room darkening option would also block the light and would also reduce heat coming in. Both light filtering and room darkening shades are available in the Trim+Go line of products.
