How do I measure to get proper fit, inside the window opening or the size of the existing blinds that I am replacing that overlap the window opening?


If you are measuring for an outside mount, you would measure the the width from end to end where you wanted that blind to be. We recommend as an outside mount an overlap of 1 1/2 inches on each side for privacy and light control. You would only use the inside window dimension if installing as an inside mount. - Kimberly
