When operating the cordless blinds, you would use your hands to lift up and down with ease. Instead of a free-hanging cord, the cordless motor in the headrail 'catches' where you would like to stop and locks it in place. If you are searching for a Motorized/ Battery operated Faux Wood Blind, our custom Levolor NuWood 2-in and 2.5-in slats offer a motorized tilt (not to be confused with motorized lift). With both the cordless motor and the battery-operated motor faux wood blinds, they do not have free-hanging cords, which pose a risk to small children and pets.
