Beautify your lawn and keep decorative stones out of the grass with bender board edging. Bender board's a flexible edging material, made from either softwood or synthetic material, that's used to frame your walkways and garden beds.
Terrace board edging typically comes in a roll and is easy to install. Simply dig a trench less than half an inch deeper than the height of the edging in whatever shape you wish. Unroll the edging and let it sit in the sun to straighten out. Place the edging in the trench and secure it with garden stakes. Then, fill in the trench up to the edge of the bender board with the mulch, stones or landscaping material of your choice.
You can do the same with planks of wooden bender boards, which are often made of redwood or cedar. First, wet the wood thoroughly so it'll bend without cracking. Bender board planks can also be used to create beautiful upgrades in your home. Attach them to a wall to create a faux-shiplap accent or classic wainscotting.
