I bought this handrail in part because of the reviews saying it was heavy-duty and easy to install. First, the handrail is very nice, although mine arrived with some pretty significant scuffs in the paint showing bare metal. Rather than returning, I touched up with enamel and it looks fine. Nice style, but lacking completion
I purchased 2 rails for steps leading to my front porch. It was fairly easy to install, but the cap for the base will not fit, the hole is cut too small to fit around the post. And where the center rail fits into the posts, there is a huge hole that I need to now figure a way to close to keep bugs and weather from entering. They say, you get what you paid for, and for less than $70 on sale, it is a great price, but having to come ip with solutions to make some fixes, was not expected.
Caution pick up from store dont order online
I liked it once i got the correct item. This was sent from the company not lowes, they sent me a well pump and when i contacted the company, they do not have a phone number only messaging so this took even longer. They said i had to return it to lowes, Lowes could not even reorder the item for me, i had to do it myself at a higher price because it was no longer on sale.

Remember Ya get what ya pay for
Fast delivery, looks better than expected when installed. Unfortunately, the cement hold down bolts SUCK, Cheap, inexpensive, junk with a wafer thin head that U can't use a socket on, just the odd size wrench U get. Says 12mm but wouldn't fit any 12mm I had. I use\d a 14mm and it was sloppy, and No, wouldn't fit a SAE without slop.
Sturdy, attractive
This railing is heavy, easy to put together and seems decently made. The hard part is drilling into concrete, much less making sure all the holes are lined up. I did it myself but recommend a second pair of hands. The expansion bolts require a 10mm bit, which I couldn't find on short notice, so I just used a 3/8" bit (equivalent to a 9.5mm) and widened the holes.

The top rail is quite nice, unfortunately that's where it ends. After drilling my concrete and attempting to drive the anchors, three bent going in. The handrail also did not align properly, it was always yonked when spread open. I thought it could be the mid rail, but it didn't matter which way that one went. So, now its a wonky pull on the two legs and anchors that don't fully seat. The thing that also doesn't show well in the images is the massive hole on each leg that allows flexibility...

Double duty.
The railing is very sturdy . I didn't realize when I purchased this, the high rail is perfect for an adult and the lower rail can assist young children with the stairs too.

The center bar was scratched from the hardware package being taped to it. Had to repaint it. A very good product, very well built, rest of items were packaged very well.
