nuLOOM Southwest Striped Wool 9ft. x 12ft. Green Area Rug

Looks nice, but sheds like crazy

I love the color and subtle stripe of this rug. However, we've had it for about 7 months now and it is still shedding excessively - so much so that it clogs the vacuum every single time. I suspect we'll have bald spots sooner rather than later. I wouldn't recommend it for a high-traffic area like a living room.

Do not buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the fence about getting this rug after reading some reviews about the shedding but decided to do it. I've had since August 25 and it has shed so much there are now holes in the carpet. The color is also lighter than the pictures make it seem.

Excellent Rug- Great Buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving this rug after several weeks- it’s not shedding as much as I’d expected (compared to my other wool rugs), and it’s wonderfully plush underfoot without being long fingered and difficult to clean. The color is a bit more of a muted sagey-green/gray than the deeper grayish-forest green I’d expected but it works fine in my space. It’s difficult to capture the color well here, but you can see it leans more gray than the product images suggest...

Sheds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this rug in our living room for just over 2 months and it is STILL shedding a ton every time we vacuum (so much so that is clogs our beater bars). At this point, I'm worried we'll have bald spots on the parts not covered by our sofa. I should have read the reviews more closely, but probably wouldn't recommend this.

Nice quality

Shedding is out of control

This sheds great hunks constantly. This is after 1 week of cleaning up chunks every day.

Lot of fuzz coming off the rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice rug. Seems to be a lot of fuzzy coming off the rug. I vacuumed it after I noticed some fuzz laying on top of the rug. Filled the canister with material. Dont know if this is normal?

good color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how the color turned out! wasn't grey ish for us, a good toned down green color. BUT IT SMELLLLLS been airing out the room forever, we will see how long its takes.

Not the quality I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug color is so pretty. Disappointed with the number of knots and stray threads that needed clipping, and after 4 vacuums it’s still shedding fine filaments. The rug also came folded up instead of rolled. The folds are still working out.

Pretty and comfortable
