iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO (3550) Auto Charging Self Emptying Pet Robotic Vacuum Cleaner

Frustrating

This device has all types of glitches. I can't get it to do the most basic task (sweep) tile only floor. It seems to always have trouble finding the docking port.

Great cleaner

This robot works well. I programmed it to clean different rooms so I don't have it do the whole house each time. Will occasionally leave larger pieces of dirt but picks up 99 percent of the dirt.

I am very disappointed

Bought a I3+ and it would never work correctly. I kept getting the spinning light. I tried rebooting, disconnect battery for a few days, I called a vacuum repair shop (they said it had to be sent back for repairs) they couldn't help me. I ended up getting my money back and I doubt I will ever buy a Roomba again. It was a Christmas gift on top of that, so it was a disappointing Christmas to an extent.

Not good with pet hair

The vacuum needs help to empty every time so it can never clean on its own. Would recommend, but not if you have animals

Love my Ruby

We have mapped the first floor of the house and I love the fact that I can select specific rooms so that if I'm working she can clean the rest of the rooms and not disturb me. We have a second one for the top floor. So far the cleaning has been quite good. I also like the messaging for when she might get stuck or when the bar needs replacing.

Does not work

I just set it up and it keeps throwing error codes. Order replacement parts and talked to support but they just want me to buy new parts. Waste of time and money

Roomba® i3+ EVO Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum

We love our Roomba. It really helps with the 2 cats fur and has eliminated the "tumbleweeds" in our house. Highly recommend getting one.

My cheaper model was better

We got the I3+ because we loved the idea of the self emptying bin. For awhile it worked great and we were so happy that the dog hair doesn't get caught in the rubber rollers. But now that we've had it for awhile, the vacuum no longer recognizes the base. It just rolls right over it. We've tried resetting it, unplugging it for a day then reconnect, even tried moving it to a new location. Love this little robot

I have 3 dogs, so hair is everywhere. I schedule the roomba 3 times a week and not more flying hair! Love It!

Worst robotic vacuum I've ever owned

I've owned this unit for about 16 months. It has never worked well, taking up to 12 hours to clean a 1200 sq ft area. It goes over areas multiple times and neglects others entirely. It gets "stuck" often, wedging itself under furniture and sometimes just stops out in the open. It is rare that it ever completes a job without multiple errors requiring attention.
