Sadly, these were not up to heavy curtains. I bought some velvety long light blocking curtains for my living room, installed the brackets, put together the rods and clips, hung the curtains on the rings, and the bracket on the side with the most curtains immediately failed and bent down to the wall. I guess now I'm going to have to take everything down, uninstall the brackets, patch the holes I drilled in the wall, and return them to Lowes. It depends on your curtain choice to work well

They are good & sturdy with all the parts included, however the spacing depends on your choice of curtains. My choice was to have a black out curtain/drape behind the second light flowing airy curtain. With the minimal spacing in between the holder for each curtain rod, the curtains get caught together at times making it challenging to move back and forth. It will basically depend on your own personal choice of curtains and how you want them to move.

After searching through all Lowe's options that seem to come in pairs, I found these. Assuming pairs like everyone else, I ordered two for two windows. I pick them up and find that they are not in pairs, but singularly packed. Now I have to go back. Grrr.

Bought these brackets to replace the ones that came with Allen & Roth Steel Double Curtain Rod - Item #: 5276621 Model #: FSI 1168Q MBLK. Though I am sure the original brackets would be fine, the brackets were made out of plastic. I thought upgrading to these would be much more solid. It was easy to install as it came with perfect instructions and all hardware. I used two rubber shims (included) for the center of the back, thinner rod. Works for what I needed

Needed a longer extension to hang a curtain over a vertical blind w/valance, wasnt able to take valance off. Couldnt use a longer, thicker extension in the space. Didn't need the 2nd rod space, but nothing else at Lowe's really worked (I was pressed for time). Not the most elegant solution, but worked for what I needed. 2nd loop wont even really be notices, but with more time, would have looked for something without it.
