Jagged edges, too narrow
The edges are pretty jagged. I used sandpaper to smooth them but it didn't help much. Then I realized they are half an inch too narrow. My eyes skipped over "Common" in "Common width" because I was in a hurry. I entered the width I wanted the blinds to be, not the window box. Now my blinds are too narrow. If the page said "Window width", I wouldn't have made this mistake.

Good price
When we visited the local store, they wanted over $200 for one of those same blinds. When we looked on line, it was reasonably priced around $50. That's what I liked about the product you sold me.

WARNING: DON'T ATTEMPT TO SHORTEN W/O INSTRUCTIONS
The blinds are nice. HOWEVER: 1. The decorative header cover is incredibly difficult to attacht to the plastic hangers. The track is so tight, it started shredding apart. 2. I attempted to shorten them, as I have every set of blinds that I have owned. There was NOTHING in the instructions that said that once I clipped the strings and the pressure became great all of the strings would be sucked into the gear cassette in the header. Quality---Where is it??
We bought these allen+roth blinds for our new house. Brand new blinds do not function as expected. The inside rail strings break, tangle, cannot raise and lower blinds. It is just my husband and I, no kids to play with the blinds. I cannot even raise and lower them to clean my windows. HUGE waste of money and we cannot afford to replace them. SOOOOO disappointed.
