I like this rod. The only negative side effect is that little rubber stopper thing moves that keeps the shower rings from catching the part where the two pieces come together. Looks great, easy to install

This shower curtain rod is exactly what I was looking for to add to my bathroom renovation project. The brushed nickel is really pretty, and the curved bar and rounded end caps provide an updated, modern look. Because the bar curves away from the tub, it will give the person much more room while showering than would a typical straight bar. I was able to install it myself in about 30 minutes, but I think it would have gone a little faster with two people, as one person could hold the bar in place...

Unable to disassemble to even install

I bought this to install as an upgrade to our dated, old tension rod in the guest bathroom. I loved the look of this one, the brushed nickel finish, and the extra room that would be gained from installing a curved rod. The ends of this rod have to be loosened/disassembled to attach it to the wall (it’s like a hoof over the ends). I could not get one of the ends to even budge loose to install it. Very light duty rod

Decided to install a curved shower curtain rod in the upstairs bath. I found this rod to be cheaply made. The end caps that cover the mounting plates are manufactured of a very thin gauge metal. Following the directions for removal caused the metal to deform ( see pic ). Also the mounting plates are thin plastic and deform if one tightens the screws enough to hold the rod in place to the wall causing the end cap cover to not fit correctly. Ridiculously bad instructions

I thought I was the dummy - but no - it wasn't me. It was the instructions - which are unclear and (most importantly) INCOMPLETE. I managed to get the thing installed via trial and error (LOTS of errors, BTW), and then when I sat down to write the review, I noticed there was a PDF instruction file on this site. I checked it - and no, I'm not the dummy. The PDF manual is incomplete and badly written, too. I'll never purchase this brand again. Awful.

Works and is sturdy

This bar is sturdy and it holds up well. The mechanism that allows the bar to be shorter/longer is sturdy. the color is consistent. Also if you jam it in to the corner of the room and sit on it naked it provides great pleasure.

Looks good but might not be worth the trouble

It was time to replace my old shower rod and I thought a curve one would be better. This one looks good and was fairly easy to mount. I think it'd be easier with a helper since it must be mounted with screws. No template was included and the instructions also did not mention what size bit to use. I used a 3/16" and it worked fine. Amazing Quality

We had one of the older "tension" shower rods in my kids' bathroom, and somehow it always seemed to shift. This is a permanent installation, rather than just putting a shower curtain rod up there. I have one screw on each side in stud, and the other uses a drywall anchor, so it isn't going anywhere.
