Does not work as expected
This lock was recommended by our home automation company as a keyless lock that would integrate smoothly with our homes Control 4. It does not lock remotely. You cannot check if it is locked or unlocked remotely. Very difficult to add temporary codes for dog walker or other services. Might be the worst purchase in our new home.

Easy installation, would buy again
I have never changed a lock before and found the installation very easy to follow. You can follow the pamphlet instructions or use an app with visual and verbal instructions (which I used). I think I had it installed and working in under 20 minutes and have had it for a month now with no problems. I’ll probably change the batteries in a month in anticipation of cold weather so the batteries are fresh for winter (just in case, based on other reviews). No complaints. I’ll probably install another ...

Just right in all the little things - AND the big. Little things like the data cord is wrapped in a protective sheath and the bolt being tapered to big things like the solid metal shroud, smooth operation, reliable connectivity, and the ability to use as a stand alone (and not pay for unused connectivity) or add the smart or swap the connection of you choice
