Easier than I expected
This is my first attempt in "smart" security. The instructions are well written and the lock is easy to install even though the body is larger than the old lock but that is better. I chose to rekey the cylinder to eliminate have yet another key to keep up with. It was probably the easiest cylinder I have removed, only a single screw. A 5 pin Kwikset fits. We are still navigating the smart part but it seems easy enough for a senior citizen.

Good looking deadbolt easy install great functions
A lot of parts are in the box, but don't be discouraged, the installation is straightforward and approachable for all DIY skill levels, especially if you are replacing an existing deadbolt and not cutting a new one. This one is going on the garage door deadbolt. The adults can enter with smartphone access, the kids can enter with a code number, guests or one-off visitors can use a temporary code. Easy installation - and it came with batteries!
IT COMES WITH THE BATTERIES! When's the last time you saw any device come with the batteries?! This is a deadbolt replacement. Installation was straightforward, even for someone that is more handy with computers than home DIY like me. Given that this is a matter device, I expected it to integrate seamlessly into my smart home, but it does not. It does not work well with home assistant at all, requiring that you enter the passcode any time you try to unlock remotely meaning it will be difficult to use for automations. Even in Google home, the ability to create automations is mediocre at best. Looking forward to installing
The design of the lock is simple and minimal, which I like. I haven't "integrated" the phone into my home system yet but it looks to be straightforward. I haven't used Matter technology before but the app looks user friendly.

Feature rich smart lock
This smart lock was very easy to install. This version is Bluetooth only but works with the Yale WiFi bridge to be able to mange it from anywhere. But if you are close to the lock you are able to setup guest access codes or invite users to the app as well as owners or Guest users to be able to manage the lock and create access users too.

This is a mighty fine doorlock
This is a door lock that is well made and high quality with a nice look. The lock is compadible with wifi and is a nice peice of tech. It is easy to use and user friendly.

Nice DeadboltWill Be Buying Another For Backdoor!
The deadbolt lock has a nice satin finish. It was easy to install with one caveat; it was necessary to enlarge the door jam and door edge surfaces where the lock faceplates mounted. A small chisel, hammer and utility knife made short work of it. I would have given it a higher rating if it came with more than one physical key.

It kinda works
After having the nest Yale lock for years I got this matter version. Setup was painful due to some instruction being confusing on how to press and hold for the matter connection for 10 vs normal connection to Yale app. Also the quality is just not as good as the nest Yale version. Lastly it jams a lot. I never had this issue before. I’m going to be switching back to nest Yale lock.

Excellent! My husband and I both have Google phone with the Google home app. Installation was super easy and easy to use using the Google home app. We can unlock our front door for expected guests that arrive to our home before we do without giving them the key code. A++++
