I was able to install it myself. It took me like an hour, but I was also assembling my other lock, incase I ever needed to use it all the pieces are in 1 place.

A Very Poor Customer Experience
Neither of the units I bought worked with any of the phones we tried for setup. The app (which is the only way to set them up) did not function properly on Android or iOS. Even returning them has been difficult, so I cannot recommend trying this lock.

Countless dead batteries!
Dead battery every 2 weeks. Now after 6 months the stupid thing is completely dead! Even the 9 volt battery backup feature won’t bring it to life!

I like the way it looks. We got the oil Rubbed Bronze for a brown door. It uses an app to set it up. Follow the instructions when setting it up because it needs something before you install the batteries. It is calibrated to know if it is open or closed, locked or unlocked. You can unlock it from your car on a rainy day if you don't have an awning which is nice. I think I saw in the instructions that you can set up a one time code for a person who should only need to enter once without having to...
