it actually makes cement more difficult.

the blades are terrible. you have to stop it every few seconds and poke it with a shovel anyway so you might as well just save some effort and some money and use a wheelbarrow. it is literally more difficult using this stupid mixer because you have to lift the bags so high to get them in just for it to completely fail at its one job.

I ordered this from Lowes and the box had blades and other hardware missing. Called Lowes and was told they dont have any in the store transferred me to fulfillment who told me to contact the company Yardwork, yardmax said the parts would be delivered in 4 days on april 8 2025 . today is april 22 2025 and I still dont have the parts. I lost my contract with a customer. Don't order it.

Assembled this yesterday and when I started it to test it running it dry, it makes a bad grinding sound for about 1/4 of its rotation. After carefully looking at it, I have determined that the bottom drum at the gear is bent. My son also looked at it and he came up with the same conclusion. Contacted Yardmax and waiting to hear back from them. They get 1 star for now because I'm afraid to use it concerned it may break in the middle of a job. Will likely change review once this issue is rect...

I am building my own work shop, and this machine works pretty well for small projects. It could work for a big job but way too much effort, it is better to order the cement. But for the price , it's a great value.

I used this to pour a 4x4x8 slab for a flagpole base and to mix topsoil with grass seed. Soooo much better than a hoe and wheelbarrow. Should have bought years ago. It mixes 2 80 pound bags of quikcrete with ease. Great assembly instructions and simple to use.
