What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the engine power and cutting ability, noting it handles thick grass, wet conditions, and heavy leaves with ease. Many highlight the reliable first-pull starting and effective mulching. However, a substantial portion report serious self-propelled system failures—lurching forward, wheels lifting, or complete malfunction after minimal use. Several cite repeated breakdowns requiring multiple repairs within a year, with long wait times frustrating owners. The recoil starter is frequently cited as prone to failure. Despite reliability concerns, many appreciate the sturdy construction, large rear wheels, and thoughtful design. Overall, strong performance is undermined by significant mechanical issues.

Well, It made it two years. The transmission went completely out. I would never recommend Yardmax products !
Broke first time
The self-propelled cable snapped within 30 minutes of my first time using it. Yard Max has been a nightmare to deal with on a warranty that should really just be a replacement. The last straw was when they sent me a cable and said try replacing it on your own. Do not buy this poor Quality.
I had it for 6 months And the belt broke and the repair shop can't get a replacement

The mower does not make a turn easily, I would not recommend this mower to anyone. When the mower is in the fast gear it will only move as fast as it wants to, it does allow you to push it an...
