In usually skeptical of non mainstream branded products but at the skyrocketing prices decided to give Yardmax a try. First impressions are most excellent! Great mower for the price I have had this for 2 weeks now and am very impressed with the power of the 201cc engine. In the far back of my yard I have not mowed all season so the weeds were around 3 feet high. The mower pushed through the weeds with very little problem, only getting bogged down once because I was going to fast. I recovered almost 1\4 of an acre thanks to this mower! The only con would be the six speed control really doesn't work well, from 1-6 settings, the speed doesn't vary muc...

Great running mower with some idiosyncrasies
This lawn mower has cold started on the second pull almost every time. Once it has been running subsequent starts only required a halfhearted pull. Lots of torque to pull through overgrown grass. Lots. Always runs at full speed, no throttle down available if that matters. Bags well, but hard to tell when bag is full before clippings start to clog up under the deck.
