I've had several issues with the mower since purchases. Yardmax is horrible when it comes to upholding the manufacturer warranty. Customer service is the absolute worst.
Not a good option
I've only had this mower for a little over a year. It does not cut well even after I replaced the blade, does not line up easy when put together had to use duct tape to keep it in place, both the back flap and side blower were knocked off. Not easy to start. Overall not a great choice.

Engine Blew in less than 10 hours of use
Bought as ditch mower a year ago. Used 20 times for 30 minutes each max. Last time engine blew hot oil out the back and never worked again. Well best mower. Cheap Chinese engine that scraps itself day after warranty ends

Not worth the money
It is light weight and does a decent job cutting. However I only used it a couple of times and it quit running and on top of that the starter line pulled out. Customer service is awful, I sent an email and called, I never received a response to either. Will not buy another one.

Excellent Push Mower
Very nice push mower. I am not one that assembles thibgs often. But I must say the mower assembly instructions were fantastic. The screws, bolts and turn knobs were in a numbered blister pack. The pictures were so helpful. Everything went as directed. I had NO problem with any parts. EASY assembly. I added oil and gas and to my surprise I pulled the start rope and it started with the First pull. I could not be happier! Fantastic operation.

Cheap Plastic Parts
This could be a great mower. It is light and powerful. But it is ruined by one thing- CHEAP PLASTIC PARTS!!! I refer to the side discharge chute. Within 10 minutes of my first mowing, it came off and the blade chopped off one of the "fasteners." Who approved this cheap chute? FIRE THEM! FIRE THEM TODAY! They are ruining what could be a great product. Also, this garbage part is on backorder! Someone in parts should have recognized that they would need this part is stock. FIRE THEM TOO...

Fails on all major issues
While cutting grass the plastic chute falls off every few minutes; the edge of the deck where the chute attaches already has rust spots where paint has chipped off; the knob for tightening the starter cord guide to the upper handle broke off during initial assembly; restarting the mower after stopping momentarily causes the engine to backfire. Great Mower
I bought this honestly because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a mower. It has been amazing. Our yard is a decent size and this mower powers through it. Very happy with this purchase.
