THE WORST

My whirlpool has been nothing but trouble since the first day I received it. It is 18 months old and I have had to have it repaired 3 times. The first repair was for the broken ice maker after one month. I have emptied and defrosted it and waited for someone to repair more times than it has worked. I had a Whirlpool for 13 years that I loved but I would NEVER buy a new one. Even my repair man said that the mother board goes out like clock work, just after your warrantee expires.

Whirlpool 3 Door refrigerater

I bought this frig in November 25. Is maker quit after 3 months . I have 5 or 6 service calls in 8 months ? Dripping water on inside of door constantly replace heater twice still the same replace a sensor another service, now all my food has frozen in the veg drawer. I had my previous Samsun showcase frig for 11 years. No problem until it died. I research thought whirlpool would be better. Very disappointed and unhappy with this purchase.

Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first whirlpool product. We like the size of the refrigerator, and the bottom freezer. Only small complaint, it took several days to make ice and it seems to be a slow maker of ice in the bottom freezer. This might be because it’s new, ask again in a month.

Quality is #1

We purchased this refrigerator based on a Consumer Reports review. This is a highly rated model which was listed as Out of Stock due to the marks it received. In fact, the installers noted that they were delivering 10 of these particular model over the next couple of days. Even though we are empty nesters, we bought the large sized model as we wanted to have plenty of room without having to cram in the groceries. And since we were spoiled by the dual ice makers this replaced, that was a must....

Terrific upgrade from a Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best refrigerator I've ever had. The French door mechanism is superior to the previous Samsung refrigerator. The space utilization is very well designed. The ice maker mounted within the door leaves a lot more space inside the refrigerator compared to the old one. Some things that could be improved: Doors want to close against the top drawer when it is open. Plastic wrapping when the refrigerator was delivered goes behind plastic...

Left side door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The left side door will not stay open as it should. Closes in on anyone trying to place items in or get items out. I have had the hinges replaced and the door replaced and it did not help. This alone makes it difficult to give anything better than 2 stars

Love the Refrig but the Ice/Water System Need Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the cooling and capacity of our new refrigerator. The lighting inside and side by side feature is nice. While the ice and water dispenser work, it is a bit messy and drippy. You have to put your glass at an unusual angle and it barely fits under where the water comes out. With the ice cube there is a bit of 'spitting' of ice shards. Overall, we were pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity of the refrigerator is excellent allowing for easy accessibility of the food. The temperature keeps the food fresh. The top icemaker keeps plenty of ice available. There needs to be something below the ice maker/water dispenser to catch drips.

Quit after 4 months

Waiting for 15 business days for a compressor and evaporator for this brand new refrigerator. Ran great the first three months we owned. Now stuck without a refrigerator for going on a month. Whirlpools policy! Which is absolutely absurd for a brand new unit. Who wants a brand new appliance with a repair history? Whirlpool will make a call on unit after the fifteenth day since they can’t find repair parts within their extensive network of repair parts.
