Whirlpool 5-in to 4-in 30 Gauge Galvanized Steel Round Duct Elbow

Fire Hazard?

This design involves a hard 90-degree turn presenting what appears to be an excellent opportunity for lint buildup, which is one of the primary causes of dryer fires. I saw no mention of UL certification and do not recommend installing this device.

NEVER A GAIN

On the 15th of November i went on Lowes website and purchase offset dryer vent ,today is the 28 of December and i am still yet to receive my offset dryer elbow, and no one can seem to tell me when I will ever be receive it ,or if i was going to get it in the first place ,this was not the first time , but i can guarantee you it was the last , i will never ever buy anything from them ever again there is many more places out there.

Not code compliant

It's weird to me that a national company would sell something that does not meet IBC International Building Code. Oh wait, they would rather make a few bucks over being safety conscious.

90 degree elbow wall connection

My existing wall connection separated . It took two months for the replacement piece to arrive at Lowe’s. It is not a shelf item, it had to be ordered.Meanwhile I was able to fix the original connector. The elbow hugs the wall , allowing the dryer to set closer to the back wall.

HAVE NOT RECEIVED ITEM, I'M WAITING FOR NOTIFICATION TO PICK UP ITEM
