2 weeks owning a Whirlpool WMH31017HZ microwave
Pros: It heats my food, and it was semi-easy to install. Cons: The installation template must be cut out of the box the microwave was shipped in. clever idea, but, you MUST cut the cardboard template out exactly on the dotted line of the thick cardboard box. My suggestion, cut it out "oversized" with a box cutter, and then try to trim to the dotted line with scissors. A precut paper template would have been far easier if supplied. Getting the Run around
I bought a new microwave on Dec. 30. It came out of the box with the error code "door" but it went away, so I paid no more attention to it. Three weeks later, the "door" error came back. While trying to make sure the door was closed properly, the whole display went blank. I called Lowes who told me to call Whirlpool for a return authorization number (RA#). no Operations manual

Works well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well as a micro0wave. I would have liked it better if it the light underneath was 2 bulbs for brighness and the buttons for the light and fan were more pronounced and easier to find in a darkened room.

Don’t Make Them Like They Used To
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not overly satisfied with our purchase. We had a Whirlpool for 24 years that still worked, but the door cracked and couldn’t be replaced. This new one is loud and the surface light bulb went out about a week after we installed it. We had a very hard time finding the replacement bulb and then called Whirlpool and they sent several bulbs out to us.

There is only one 25 watt light; my last microwave had two. - it is more noisy that I am used to with my last microwave; there has been a rattle from the revolving glass plate inside. - there is no pause button
